What Makes an Eligible Candidate
Clients and Projects
 
Candidates learn by doing. Therefore, they need to develop relationships with clients whom they can coach during the program. Supervision from a Master Coach is also most meaningful in the context of work projects where candidates can apply their skills and reflect on their learning.
 
Corporate Experience  
While a solid theoretical foundation is important, our focus is not on teaching organizational structure or business strategy. Ideally, our candidates have significant corporate experience or advanced training in organizational development. Training in the fundamentals of counseling is helpful, but not a prerequisite.
 
Candidate Profiles  
Successful candidates fit the following profile:
Line executives with significant experience coaching their direct reports and mentoring junior colleagues
 
Human resources and organization development executives with significant experience coaching their clients through day-to-day challenges
 
Other executives with advanced training in organizational development, psychology or business who have significant experience consulting within organizations, a passion for coaching and a desire to re-focus their work on individuals
 
Specific Prerequisites  
Undergraduate degree  
10+ years management experience  
Employer sponsorship
