His work on inclusive education (through the Impossible Child Series) has provided a model that has influenced practice widely. Recent initiatives include research on employability, intellectual capital and issues facing counselors in Europe, together with a series of studies on childhood problems. The development of models for work-based professional development, coaching and the ethics of globalization have resulted from collaborations with faculty within Middlesex University. He has facilitated problem solving and mission development events for a wide range of groups in health, education, social services, community groups, scientific bodies, as well as private sector companies.
